Actually.. What yellow said was that if Yata were able to make lot of friends and having no family issues, then he wouldn’t had become delinquent/rebel during middle school.

So.. I guess Yata DID have family issues ehh? ; ___ ;

Also, if he didn’t become such rebel, then he probably would be a normal middle schooler and being an enthusiastic kid in whatever sports club he may join.

It is also mentioned that albeit not as bad as Fushimi, Yata also bear twisted visions toward the world. 

They used the term “中２病” which by direct translation would be “middle school sickness”. It is as if kids at that age would often have bizarre thoughts like taking over the world, have super power and just.. Being teenager, I guess, albeit a bit more twisted I’d say. And because Yata and Fushimi both got “terrible” 中２病, they just click together, I think..

The two of them would talk about how meaningless the world is and how to make mess of it all in somewhat serious tone. But since both of them are just middle schoolers, they never get to do anything drastic.
